A Silly and Mildly Painful "New Blog" Post

I know, it’s unfortunate and borderline unbearable, but I still feel that stereotypical, ye old “new blog” blog post is inevitably in order. Before you being banging your head on the nearest wall and promptly exiting out of your browser, hear me out. (I’ve got no good reason why you should, but I beg of you…)

So who really wants to know the author’s of the blogs and websites they look at? What’s that? You do? Well you’re in luck because you’re about to suffer through a short yet painstakingly clichéd introduction paragraph that could only be described as a short and misleading “About Me” list.

• I’m in college, studying Film & Television

• I'm usually living in either New York City’s good ol’ Manhattan or a miniscule town in the middle of nowhere New Hampshire

• I tend to think I’m nothing short of amazing while actively using self-deprecating humor whenever I get the chance

I’m going to be up front with you, I’m going to write a lot of how-to’s and guides. The shameful confession? I probably will not be an expert or even well-versed in about 75% of the subjects I’ll be how-to-ing. Lucky for you, my wit and charm will make up for it…

...and if not pity me for I am a broke, lower middle class 19-year-old living in a broke, upper-middle class world. (Just kidding – it’s the 1%’s world and we’re just living in it.)

I’ll also write whatever tickles my Cultural fancy, which could be anything from personal essays, books, movies and TV shows (see my Netflix Instant Master Recommendations List), personal essays, lifestyles, beauty, fashion, satire, politics, cultural issues, and basically anything else I’m only mildly qualified to write about.

So folks, sit back, relax, and convince yourself your not wasting your time by reading the American Treasure that is this blog.
